Introducing: Six Things

SF - Six Things - Nov'20.png

I have decided to start a new series here on the blog called Six Things, a monthly curated list of six things I am loving at the moment. This list will feature my inspiration, brands, music, podcasts, and so much more!

  1. ON REPEAT - Made in Lagos by Wizkid - This album has been on repeat since I heard the track Blessed, it’s my personal favorite off the album followed by Essence. The whole album is a vibe but it’s the sultry sax in the background throughout the album for me.

  2. SCENT - Mohave Ghost by Byredo - All summer I was looking for a new signature scent to add to my collection and this one spoke volumes, it’s a unisex fragrance that smells very opulent and lingers for ages.

  3. FLORALS - Neutral Colored Roses - Most of you know that I like to keep fresh flowers in my home and lately I have been drawn to roses with a neutral tone to them. It may be due to the season but white, cream, pink and orange roses will be the pick of choice for weeks to come.

  4. BIBLE - The Message Bible - After listening to one of my favorite faith-based podcasts, Blessed & Bossed Up, where the host read a passage from the Message version of the bible I immediately switched the version on my Bible app and began to start using this version and It’s sooo good! It really modernizes the bible with contemporary language and as the Host on the podcast said, “It’s gangsta” It really is, it’s very straight to the point. There’s really no guessing when reading this version.

  5. PUFFER JACKET - Zara Faux Leather Puffer Jacket - As many of you know I am a Pinterest fanatic, in my daily peruse for inspo I kept coming across puffer jacket looks and I have to say I am officially hooked! This nude faux leather one from Zara is to die for! I can see myself creating so many looks. I also really want a nice chocolate brown colored one for this f/w season.

  6. POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS - PEPTALKS by LinseyEryn - Another Pinterest find— I am always in pursuit of inspo and motivation so when I came across PEPTALKS, a faith-based daily pep talk + affirmation app I was overjoyed. As a fan of design and typography her use of both are incredible and the intentional content is everything for me. Her content reminds me a lot of the type of content I produce but in word form, so I am thoroughly inspired her content and messaging.
