a text from a friend

a friend of mine texted me this and when I tell yall it warmed my heart so much. I see myself as a woman of power and influence, an inspiration, an icon, a magnet so to get that confirmation from someone else is an amazing feeling.

I believe it’s necessary to give yourself your flowers. We live in a world of fleeting moments and highlight reels and to be honest, it’s moments like these I hold near and dear to my heart. I’m just grateful to be who God put me here to be and to be able to impact the people closest to me in this way just makes me feel as thought I am doing what I’m called to do.
