June's Mood

My mood moving into June is exhausted!

I’m tired of the injustice, I’m tired of psychological warfare, I’m tired of being hunted, false imprisonment, the breakdown of the black family, redlining, the deletion of black history, coon behavior, having to work 3x as hard, being discredited and a host of other things that we as black people have to face each and everyday. But most of all, IM TIRED OF MY BLACK LIFE NOT MATTERING. To live in a country that my ancestors built for free and is beyond frustrating. How can a human being look at another human and deem them less than because of the color of their skin and then hundreds of years later hunt, kill, harvest organs and copy our features. It’s blatantly disrespectful and honestly I’m fed up and making it my mission to not only further educate myself but my people and hold my fellow humans accountable for their actions and or lack thereof.

Each horrific thing I listed above is something that you can google and find out more information about. The saddest part of all of this is the affects that the propaganda of the media has done to some black people. Some of my brothers and sisters are brainwashed to believe that what we are facing stems from within our own community when the reality is that the lack of education on correct event in history has you left them respecting their oppressor over their own. It breaks my heart that we are the only ethnic group that has no unity, we do not ride for each other as we should.

We have to do better, although it is exhausting I am willing to commit myself to help educate others and wake them up to the reality they are too jaded and brainwashed to see. As J. Edgar Hoover said, “The greatest threat to the United States of America is Negro Unity” he knew what most black people today have failed to realize, WE ARE POWERFUL, there is no way around it. Why else would they keep us down for all these years? My greatest hope and prayer for my community is that we begin to unite and walk boldly in our power. We don’t need to appease white supremacy what we need to do is build a united front and mind our own. They only have a hold on us because of our lack of ownership, so do what you can to build wealth, keep grandma’s house and create legacy and share what you know freely with people who look like you.

Google is free yall, educate yourselves, please! To get started here’s a Pinterest Board I’ve created with facts about black history that will empower you and help to start your research process. Whatever resonates is worth digging deeper, we have to unlearn and relearn. I will warn you this is exhausting but necessary work, so be patient with yourself, take your time and share your findings with your loved ones.

Love yall, I mean it!
