Good vibes, semi-strong cocktails, laughs and awesome music... are the perfect pairings for a good Sunday in my eyes. Whenever I step out with my girls its always a good time. 

Sunday is definitely my favorite day of the week, more so in the summer because brunches and day parties are my absolute fave! I just love the vibe, there's something different about a day time function versus a nighttime event at a club. I feel like you meet better people, make stronger connections and people are more genuine. But that could just be me. 

The beauty of living downtown in the close proximity of everything. Although I don't go out much downtown, that will soon change with the emergence of poppin' spots opening up. My friend Shawn, hosts some really dope parties downtown... The venues are always sleek and the music is for sure on point! Prank bar was a new one to me, Its right on the corner of Hope and 11th. Location is prime, a block away from La Live! The drinks were awesome and they have an awesome Happy Hour too! (hello my frugal socialites!) 

The DJ tho!!! I should've got his card, because he was spinning all the hits. If you know me you know I'm a late 90's /early 00's hip hop lover. So he definitely had me boppin and shaking in my seat lol. Hits from the likes of Biggie and Total. He even threw in some Michael Jackson classics! I was in heaven lol This is definitely a spot I'd recommend grabbing drinks and a quick bite with some friends.
